I was so excited when Sally and Nathan's Wedding disc came in the mail last week,I couldn't wait to share it with you all.I have had so many beautiful emails from Brides to be enjoying the real brides on my blog.Thank you for all your beautiful words and to all of my girls for sending me such beautiful imagery captured from your day and the talented photographers that make it all happen.A Huge Thank you to Louisa Jones (photographer) for this story.
Sally's look for hair was very classic.Her hair was set in rollers then pinned back at the nape of the neck allowing the veil to sit above the bun.Sally's makeup was very simple but beautiful using a palette of flat
and shimmer browns and keeping the underneath of the eye really clean.Sally's lashes are naturally long but we did add a couple of individual lashes from the centre of the eye to the edge with lashings of mascara.M.A.C. cosmetics were used on Sally and the girls.

Love everything about this wedding.A lot of thought went into it.All of the hair was styled to suit everyone's personality down to the hair pieces.Simply beautiful!

I Love this in the black and white it's such a classic capture.How amazing is this dress!

Anna and Kristan's wedding was just gorgeous.There was a lot of thought put into the entire theme of the wedding.Anna's hair was set using the large GHD irons then pinned back with quite a bit of height on the crown.Anna has medium hair but it does tend to drop easily so we added some clip on extensions and I pre curled them the evening before.Adding these into the hair helps with the longevity.The weather does make a huge difference with hair being styled and worn out.If the weather turns out to be windy and photo's are taken at the beach a mixture of salt air and sea breeze does tend to make the hair look messy...not for Anna she had someone smiling down on her.The day was Perfect!Anna's makeup was done using M.A.C. cosmetics.I used a light base on her skin as you can see it's flawless.Anna looked after her skin prior to the wedding by using great skin products and hydrates by drinking lots of water.This makes a huge difference when I come along to do an application of makeup.The eyes were done using browns in M.A.C. then used a black liner to really accentuate them.Anna's own lip stain was used.

I couldn't choose which one I Loved more...so I chose both.

I Loved this story and Liz's beautiful choice of style!When I met Liz we looked at a couple of different looks for hair but ended up modelling the hair from a SJP (Sarah Jessica Parker) look.This particular hairstyle was slicked up into a high ponytail then padding was added in addition to a hairpiece that was wrapped around the hair.The makeup was very simple and elegant using M.A.C cosmetics.
The Bridesmaids had a similar feel to Liz's look that wasn't identical but had a beautiful flow.Thank you Liz and Jeremy for letting me share your beautiful wedding with all my Brides.

What a beautiful day we all had.The photo above was taken at Springhill House on Pardalote in Queenscliff.As you can see by the surrounds of the space there is an amazing feel in the space.I felt like I was working in a movie set.

Bridgett wearing her hair in a gorgeous bun.My prediction for a popular look for next season.The strong influence from the movie "The Black Swan".I dare say I will be doing a feel of the ballerina bun in the next couple of months.

A gorgeous close up of Bridgett.Makeup used was Mac Cosmetics.Strip lashes were used to emphasise the eyes.A combination of cool and warm browns were used to make Bridgett's eyes stand out.Her hair was put up in a high ponytail and then padding was used to give all that volume on the back,her own hair was then used to cover the padding.I Love this look on Bridgett.

Finally...I have a spare moment to share some images from Katherine and Justin's wedding.What a beautiful day it was!
Apart from having such a great day for the couple and bridal party,it looks as though they all had time to relax and have a celebration drink.
Katherine has a lot hair,so giving her a bun that was curled prior to pinning it to place was easily done without the assistance of hair padding which is done often.A veil was not worn at all so the beautiful hair accessory was going to be the main feature that was worn all through the evening.Katherine's makeup was a combination of golds and bronzes with quite a strong liner around the eye,finishing off the look with a hint of pink on the cheek and a gloss on the lips.

Bek and Damon's Wedding

Bek had contacted me only a couple of weeks prior to her wedding,I am so glad that I was able to look after her.
Opting for a very relaxed look,the hair was pinned to the side with a little bit of assistance of a curling iron.A fresh flower (peony rose)was wired by a florist and secured on the side of the hair bun.A mixture of Mac Cosmetics (grey tones) were used on the eyes keeping the shadow on the socket area only and lined with my new favourite pencil by Mac "phone number".A hint of colour was used on the cheek with a neutral lip.(pictured above:Bek and her sisters)

Happy New Year to everyone.Welcome to 2011!I thought that I should start putting up a couple of posts from my Beautiful Brides.Abbey and Evan sent a couple of photo's to me from their wedding day.What a lovely couple.Abbey is wearing a Harvey an Ella dress which is a favourite designer of mine.Abbey's hair was set in rollers and combed up with quite a bit of height in the crown we wanted the look to be quite relaxed and not too structured.Abbey's makeup was very natural using mac makeup.
